VICTORY!!!

Mon Dec 7, 2009, 6:41 AM
well.... almost....

After 2 months of research, 2 weeks of stress, 5 days without sleep, and snapping more times on my boyfriend than I should have, I AM FINISHED!

I called my mom, who gave me wonderful advice on my essay: screw what the teacher says isn't right, put what you think and why, and if he has a problem then too bad at least you gave it your all. She also gave a lovely suggestion of calling him a pain in the ass, formally of course. And so, after this phone call, and quite a few hours of work, I have managed to get 1325 words in a 1200 word essay.....but I have no intro or conclusion. As my papa assured me today, I deserve a pat on the back, some well needed rest, and then should finish it once I'm done taking care of myself.

So last night, after I did all this, I went to my boo's place to apologize for yelling at him when he called to see if I was coming over (he did this more than once, and I was so stressed I told him thoroghly off). He is so much like my dad isn't scary! He did the fake pout thing and said "Well I don't WANT your apology. I want a kiss that means I'm sorry." So I pounced on him and tickle tortured him, then kissed him and said, "I'm here to kidnap this bed becausse your place is quiet." He agreed I should sleep because it was noticeable that I haven't in a while (it was 3am, I just spent 5 days without sleep and my eyes looked like someone hit me with a 2 by 4) and so we both went to bed and I passed out almost instantly.

Wonderful peaceful sleep...

ONLY TO BE WOKEN UP BY A DAMN FIRE ALARM AT 6:30!!!

So there we go, running and getting dressed and trying to get out of the arpartment building as firemen surround the damn place like vultures.

So there we were freezing cold at 6:30, I hadn't been able to find my shoes, and both boys were in their boxers and shirts. There were 20 of us outside, the rest of the people refused to leave their rooms at such an un-Godly hour. Lucky them! We spent an hour and a half outside freezing, and without a word, the firemen walked through the building then left, not telling us who were outside anything. It took the landlord to come down and say "Some kid pulled the alram." before anyone was given permission to come back to bed.

Of course there was no way, after an hour and a half of freezing cold air, that I would be able to sleep :( and so I'm writing this, and will be leaving in 5 minutes for my first class. Amazingly, my second class was cancelled and so I will be going to my boo's and sleeping for at least 2 days...

Have a nice week, happy Monday morning.

Be safe and have fun,
Hope
xoxo

Essays Due Wed.... Stress Here Today....

Sun Dec 6, 2009, 12:05 PM
I've spent a day staring blankly at a computer screen attempting to figure out the same damn question I've been trying to figure out for the past few weeks. I'm going on 3 days of no sleep, which is not helping my mental state at all. The teacher says I'm half-way through getting the "answer to the question", half way there causes more stress trying to find out more of the damn answer before I can even begin to answer the real question... The more I search, the more questions I have. The more research I have. The fewer answers I can come up with. The more confused I become, and the less work gets done.

Going to lay down for a bit, then take a nice long shower and come back, maybe then I’ll be good enough to get this done and go to my other essay…

Soaked in the tub yesterday and got half a paragraph done, sitting at this computer for more than three hours and I've got nothing.... thinking once the bathroom is free, I'll sit in the tub until I finish my damn essay... or drown.... whatever comes first...

Operation Has A New Name Called: Real Life!

Fri Dec 4, 2009, 9:24 AM
So, I woke up looking like a chipmunk with bad bottox today, my bottom half of my face was so swollen I could barely talk (though my sweet boo insisted I looked beautiful and that it wasn't too bad, he's such a liar). Went to the school dentist, gave her all the info from the other dentist I went to a few weeks ago... she says he's a complete idiot.

According to her, my teeth cannot be operated on because they aren't out enough, and for him to suggest an operation would mean he wants to digg really deep into my bones, something she doesn't suggest. She also said there's no way he should be charging 1123$ for two teeth when it should be no more than 200$ a tooth. When told about the medicine he gave he, she perscribed Amoxicillin, stating that Ibuprofen, even extra strength, does nothing. I can atest to this as it wears off after only 30mins, and you can't take another for 4hrs...

So, here I am, exhausted, confused, and hoping to God someone will do something to my damn jaw to stop it from hurting.

I Got Tagged!

Wed Dec 2, 2009, 5:57 PM
Mel has asked me to write five weird things about myself. Weird? There's nothing weird at all about me! I'm totally and utterly, boringly normal I swear. My family however will probably disagree...

So here goes my attempt.... I'm sure there's more, but I was asked for 5....

1. I think normality is over-rated and do everything in my power to avoid being what society views as normal. This is not weird, I'm sure many people do it. I wear whatever I feel like it, and rarely, if ever, follow fashion styles of what is viewed as "in". I used to wear Halloween costumes on a regular basis in high school, so much so that, when I dressed normal (which was more often then people noticed, but not as often as costumes) people would freak and ask what was wrong... Today, I've tonned down more then anyone can say, but I still keep the occasional quirks: my hair will never be a "normal" colour to my grandmothers dismay.

2. I used to do "voices" as a kid. I would mimic Disney characters mostly, some of them are: Micky, Minnie, Pooh Bear, Stitch, Piglet, Tiger, Eeyor, ect... I had to stop because my mother thought I was possessed, and I'm not sure I could still do it... Stitch maybe, but not so much the others...

3. My eyes change colour. They go anywhere from blue to aqua marine to grey. They turn, and this has only happened twice so few have witnessed it, a deep almost surreal aqua (more green then blue hue) when I'm at my boiling point and am about to snap. This happened when I was at work and my co-workers thought I was possessed and some even screamed in fright.

4. I have made many unwritten stories involving very random and unthought of ways to die or get hurt. One I came vey close to writing was called "A Very Bad Day" about a university student who wakes up late for class, on the way to class she gets hit by a car that speeds away (hit and run), she gets up, keeps going and gets mugged, and things like this happen throughout her day, many random things, until she finally gets to school and the door is locked and school is closed. This might not seem strange unless you factor in how unviolent I am in person. Perverted at times? Yes... Violent? No.

5. I have long "pianist" fingers, not weird. I also have long "pianist" toes. WTF? I can use my toes like fingers and pick things up, fold things (though not perfectly), ect... My brother used to get grossed out over it, and still does. My boyfriend on the other hand finds it amusing, insisting it is a talent I should be proud of. I'm still working on teaching myself to draw and write with them.... getting there.

That's all folks!

So I'm tagging the following, but if you want to do this and aren't tagged, go ahead:

What Is Wrong With The World?

Wed Dec 2, 2009, 4:08 PM
A girl wore cat ears today, no not me, a Korean girl (not that her ethnicity matters) & people were rippin on her for it. She looked adorable! I don't see a problem with wearing cat ears, only problem I see are people who make a big deal of it. What business is it of people to look down & judge others on how they dress? Excuse me for not conforming to your views. Your in university get over yourselves already! You would think by now people would have grown up. To the conformists I say: "You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are just like everyone else." I'm Thinking of wearing mine tomorrow as a FU to conformists, woulda worn 'em today if there was time to get ready... instead I was wearing a track suit.... mind you it was a nice looking track suit... black, sleek, shiny...

Because of some weird thing, I can't use the Journal skin I had in my last journal unless I get a subscription, which I can't afford, esp. since I might need to save up for the operation....
